FISHING REVIEW

| Two are the possibilities of Tucumán as far as sport fishing. The one of docks, rivers and streams of the mountainous zone and the one of rivers of the level part, that integrate the river basin of the Dulce river after the frontal dock of Hondo river, in combination with the account santiagueña. |

The mountain fishing includes, as well, two aspects.
The fishing of salmónidos in the rivers and streams and the pejerreyes
and the carps, catfishes and tarariras in the lakes of the dams. The equipment therefore differs enough, since in the rivers and streams of mountain the use of light pack light field equipment, spinning and fly is recommended, these last conditional to the characteristics of each course, many of which are bordered by so dense vegetation that it makes difficult the free action of “fly-cast”, launching of artificial flies. In those cases the use of the alternative equipment is recommended , of spinning with canes that do not exceed the 1.80 M. of frontal length, reel and nylon number 20 to 30. |

Loved fisherman:
It will deal with hacerte a generalized review of the fishing in my province so
that little by little ponerte to as much can of the fishing activity.
Here in Tucumán we have several dams distributed throughout the province in
which the fishing of the pejerrey is important (mainly the dock the narrowness,
located in Tafi of the Valley a distant place 100 km of the tucumana capital
where the fishing of the pejerrey is most important in quality and amount.
For the fishing of the pejerrey, we used canes of 2 here.10 mts of length of
action of end (like for spinning light) reel frontral with nailon 0.25 (100mts)
and the fishing is made as much of bottom 10 to 15 meters with bottom balance
beam as line of two hooks or balance beam of average water with buoy Cordovan or
similar type.
The flotation fishing we shortly after made it in the summer that finishes the

As soon as the pejerrey lays eggs, the fishing with canes of 4 occurs to much
afloat.00mts and elements of flotation of two and three hooks...reel loaded with
multifilament.
The bait that we used is traditional mojarra, done filet, colored of red, yellow
or blue, prepared with the oil of sardine and oil of codfish...also we used
colored pejerrey and filet of toothy (this in measured minor).
The fishing of perca which abounds in this dam makes with revolving spoons,
mainly or with white worm that grows up in the crust of the trees of the place.
The fishing with fly of perca every time has more followers. Equipment is used
n° 5 or 6 (according to the preference) because in the zone there is much wind
and this it makes difficult to much the launching. In days of little wind I
advise an equipment 3 or 4.
Other dams apt for the fishing of the pejerrey are the dock the Cadillal, to 15
minutes of the tucumana capital, where there is an overpopulation of pejerrey
and tarariras, but the quality of the pejerrey is very poor.
We have the Dock of Escaba and we limited with Catamarca where we have several
dams with abundant pejerreyes (sumampa, collagasta, pirquitas, etc)
This it is a small summary of the fishing of the pejerrey in the province:
Fishing of the gilded one: the fishing of the gilded one is made, in the dam of
laughed deep, distant 80 km of the city of Tucumán, or in the rivers of the
province at the time of rains (summer) and where it governs an average
prohibition.
The fishing of the gilded one in the dam is good and with unit of very good
quality (where they removed gilded from up to 18 kilos)
The modalities that practice are trolling, spinning and fishes with bait.
Separate paragraph for the fishing with fly, with 9 equipment 8 and the fishing
of the gilded one in the mouth of the rivers is than interesting more.
