Several species exist where we can find from pacúes, to the extraordinary “ Tiger of River ” the Golden one, Surubíes, that they complement with palometas; moncholos; armados; patíes; rayas; manguruyús; manduvés; etc.

Not only it will enjoy the modality of chosen fishing (Spinning or Bait casting), but of the view of fauna and typical flora of the region, with its tracks, streams, gorges and islands. The guides will offer one irresistible "fritada" of the obtained pieces, or an excellent flamed golden accompanied of a good wine.

When finalizing the day, their pieces will be frozen and sprinted for its later transfer.

The golden one (salminus Maxillosus) is known in Argentina as “ the tiger of the river ” and is considered like one of the sportive fishes of South America. It is a great swimmer and the normal ranks of their size varies between the 3 and 15 kg. , although the world-wide record is of 30 kg. The golden one lives in warm waters. Corrientes it's an habitat in which the golden one feels comfortable.

A fish beautiful fighter and, like its name. Of great bearing, (it can weigh up to 20 kg) and of character hard, one becomes a great challenge for the lovers of the sport fishing.

After a complete breakfast, one leaves from local port and is introduced to the delta to arrive at fishing places indicated by our expert guides.

At noon, some of the islands is chosen in order to rest and to delight famous “fritanga” and soon continue fishing until the fall of the sun.

The fishing day is made on modern boats manned by guides registered and equipped with radio V.H.F. and all the implementos of security demanded by Argentinian Naval Prefecture.
