After several years of absence, thanks to an invitation from our
friend Aldo Dicembrino (Friends Club), traveled to the Chaco Province to share
this tournament, you already know that generally do not cover many fishing
party, but in this opportunity and the affection that unites us with Aldo, and
being the press officer decided to go and participate.
For those new to this place I make a brief summary, is right
at the confluence of the Rivers Parana and Paraguay, compared to Paso de la
Patria, ie sharing the same fishing tennis Pass, 40 km separate it from Route
prov. No. 16 is a stretch of pavement and the rest is a consolidated road in
very good condition. The scenery is beautiful, wild, undisturbed nature, and the
town is in the midst of an old and many trees, has little beach and a limited
tourist infrastructure, a very comfortable inn, with internal parking and very
good service, campgrounds and some small shops, the beautiful surroundings and
silence are extra bonus for visitors.
We arrived on Saturday afternoon, very hot, we toured the
stands, chatting with friends on the night we met him for dinner at the lodge,
tonight he did a folk festival, which was suspended while playing the game that
we lost to Brazil and then continued, was attended by Mario Bofill, a stronghold
of Corrientes music.
On Sunday, very early breakfast and the coast, the tournament
was from 9 to 14, from there lunch and desserts were given the awards, we
participate with our friends John Madia and Walter Mitchell, who provided the
boat and coxswain made us, at 9 out boats, and some not so common, nobody was
like crazy, were distributed by the river slowly, fast acceleration threatening
to others.
For our part we did a great paper, a showy, caught nothing, I
stuck a golden cute but became entangled in the rope line that links the spinel
with the drums and I could not zafarlo (also a great role that the day of the
Tournament, in the field of fisheries, longlines has not ever stop) and then
nothing ........
At two in the afternoon we returned to the coast and we
arrived the dining room, which fortunately did not fish anything like eating
there share the table with friends and colleagues, the desserts began the
drawings for fishing equipment and then delivering Tournament prizes, raffled
later the car 0 km and finally the boat, the car (VW Gol) was won by Vincent
Botta, known guide Fly-Cast in Paso de la Patria, and the boat (with 40 Hp) a
fisherman Brazil Pedrinho group member of Fisheries.
Two hundred and eighty boats participated in the
tournament, which places it as number one as far as concerns Dorado, and
third nationally behind Goya y Reconquista Fisheries are Surubí really
Dicembrino Aldo effort paid off.

As you can see in five hours fishing at the confluence of a
tournament he won three gold, someone should tell the President that in that
area there are many fewer fish than normal, and should withdraw the decree
931/09 for the sake of resources and recreational fishermen.
Something that bothered me was that the organizers of the Festival say
that journalists are essential to the dissemination and blah blah blah, but take
care of us when we seem to devalue, in Saturday's dinner we found out that
tourism had stipulated Chaco journalists would take only half a liter of soda
per person and from there they should be paid expenses, and Sunday had paid
journalists drink, so one promotes the free event, is banking moving expenses
(which are few 1100 km), takes photos, shoots, edits, write the note, translates
and publishes ALL FREE and then not worth the drink or eat (Nacho and see if you
put the batteries), we really should get stronger as that attention to the press
is concerned.
Finally, we spent two pleasant days we shared beautiful moments with friends,
and for the first time participated in a fishing tournament, which is not
enough, though we did toad. Everything was well organized, timely, and lunch was
a real party, with flags, dancing, concubines, musicians and lots of commotion.
Greetings
