We had never fished in this one zone of the Parana River, although we had been a pair of times, in this one opportunity and thanks to an invitation of Francisco, its proprietor, we arrived ourselves to make a fishing until the new complex “Port Paradise” Yahapé, of recent construction and yet what the fisherman needs to pass it well, rooms with conditioned air, ample dining room, to few meters of the river and with a very comfortable establishment of truckers.

Yahapé is a very small population, with earth streets and about 300 inhabitants, the tranquillity is absolute, is to few km. of 12 Route and the access road it was quite good, it is a very high place with respect to the river and is necessary to lower a few meters until the coast, the river he was high and it ran strong, in addition he was a little cloudy, which harms the fishing with artificial.

We shared the fishing with the Journalist and Instructor of Fishing with Fly Mario D'Andrea, the staff of multimeans “ the Duck ", friend of a long time ago, and with Federico, proprietor of the Complex “Port Paradise " Itatí, fanatic of the fishing with fly and the tied one.

The first day we fished single since Mario would arrive at night, so we dedicated ourselves to the fishing with bait and trolling to the tardecita, with our guide “Yiyo” we above left early waters until a known sector as “the water taking”, are pretty tracks there that we explored with our eels, although this one bait is taken by the gilded ones must consider that is but hard that colored person, by as much is necessary to give “to the run” fish but time of so that she eats.

They must consider that the stones of this one sector are rather down, therefore must give enough line to the bait so that it arrives at the stone, with that height of the river we had to give 70/80 mts. of line.

After some happening without success we were transferred to the stones that are in front of the town, there we had several captures throughout the day, of tardecita we already put decoys of trolling and in first happened we made a doublet of gilded.

The sizes of the captures were discreet, is a luck question, since a boat that was to few meters ours nailed gilding of 16 kg. and we greatest it would walk in the six or seven kilos.

In the second day already we counted on the company of Mario D'Andrea and Federico, so moved we left to throw our flies and the decoys of bait, now waters under the port, we fished stones with tracks in means of the river and soon we were crossing the coast until Puerto González, went there that we saw a boat by all means lower quite great gilding in a cement incline that is to few meters of Gendarmerie, that the controls of affluent fauna “ thanks ".

We used canes # 8 and lines 225 Cortland QD of 175 and grains, Mario and Federico fished with lines of flotation, we had several resentments and some captures, without a doubt the river high and a little cloudy did not allow a better result, in a pair of months we will return to make the attempt.

In the evening we went to the zone of Tuyutí, where fishermen of Brazil had removed a pair from surubí and lost several resentments, we saw the movement but there was no way to make itch them, without doubts the moment of the resentment had been to the morning, we saw the boats of the Paraguayan boat there, which this in waters of Paraguay, but the boats fish in Argentine waters, take the fish to the boat and return by more.

Finally, the town is beautiful, calm, small, without noises, with little people, few boats in the river, beyond the results of the fishing the surroundings is very barren and of great beauty, if they walk by the zone try to pass a pair of days in Yahapé.

A very great gratefulness to Francisco by its friendship and the excellent attention that offered us, to Mario D'Andrea and Federico to share this one note with us.

Greetings

Hugo Gallo
