Empedrado, a Correntina Jewel
A varied fishing and entertainment

After a time we returned to
Empedrado, as it
says its slogan is a “Jewel” Correntina, is the first fishing boat of Currents
since the Parana River leaves its East-West course and takes the definitive
north-south, many will have seen its beautiful coasts with grained red earth
ravines, in which the different geologic layers are seen, in addition it has
innumerable black water brooks and a very beautiful selvático landscape, in this
one zone no longer is as much stone bottom and if sand bottom, therefore the
“falls” of fishing much more are prolonged and without enlistments, the fishing
is varied and sometimes important captures are obtained, although he is not the
daily thing.
We arrived at the hotel

did the invitation to this one relevamiento of fishing, this one hotel it is the
old Hotel of Tourism in hands now deprived, is installed in a great estate on

The rooms are very comfortable, with sommiers, conditioned air, ample bath with
bathtub, TV, and a pretty balcony with Vista to the river, in addition it counts
on several “Suites” with services of first level.
At our arrival also a numerous group from
fishermen of Brazil arrived, so Saturday and Sunday we could more widely see the
results of the fishing.
Saturday we embarked as soon as the Brazilian
tourists already were in the river and to eat for lunch something, so to the one
of afternoon we left river above, participabamos of the fishing Patricia,
Guillermo (manager of the hotel), the Cordovan (Guide) and I, we sailed a good
short while water arrives until the zone of the fallen tree, are beautiful

Sunday we left again near the one, in this one
occasion water underneath Empedrado, passed through a the camping of the tourists
to approach bait to them that had obtained Enzo (administrator of the hotel) in
Resistance and a little ice, of we passed there by a place known like “the
Mansion of Winter”, is a construction palaciega constructed in 1906 by European,
designed by Tahy architect, and who inexplicably was left years later, the
spiders and the furniture of that mansion are at the moment in different
mansions and museums from Argentina.
Finally we began the fishing the
water-drainage of the Peguahó brook, that was throwing water and therefore bait,
there the gilded ones were hunting, so we when coming out sent to our water
baits, of immediate nail a pretty one gilded, to minutes later Patricia captures
another enough one but great who previous, when the estabamos ones retaking the
fall we see one of the boats of the tourists with a beautiful surubí captured in
the same zone but by the center of the river, so towards we were ourselves
there, we fished golden other of very good surubí size but nor one.
Passed the five of afternoon we undertook the
return by the aforesaid reason, in three hours of fishing we obtained very
pretty pieces, we did not have time to bore to us.
Really Empedrado it is called to being
one of the fishing boats of the season, by the quality of services and the
abundant one and varied fishing, that although does not give great surprises
generally, it satisfies the expectations with the fishermen who visit it.
