After the "windy" fishing in Cochicó we travel up to Puán, 60 km up to Pigüé and 30 more up to Puán, (to see routes enter in www.ruta0.com ), we had received an invitation of Ms Marlene Destrée to realize a report of fishing in that one city, did not know Puán so we are useful to know and to prove(try) the fishing that, as we knew very good age and with " very big surprises ".

The city impressed us pleasingly from its entry, with a collection of ancient carriages in the access, very broad streets with boulevares, very wooded, and so calm that the people make the keys of the car put and nothing happens(passes), we come on Wednesday at about three o'clock in the afternoon, we went to the hotel Savizky where (propietary) Eugenia received us of marvel and established ourselves.

Since we had got up early very much to be in Cochicó at 7 a.m. from Bragado, and after the jolts in the early-rising fishing we needed a rest, before it we visit the hill, Puán means behind of the hill, and is like that located.

It is known as the " Capital of the Beer Barley, and every year realizes the National Holiday (Party) of that one product, in Puan there is installed the Maltería Pampa SA, one of more big of sudamérica.

In the hill there is a monastery of retirement(withdrawal) called Santa Clara, sedate of the Sisters' Contemplative Community Nuns of the order of St Clare of the Argentine South, very wooded land, with a bellisima recreation of the Vía Crucis, an altar and the monastery in strict sense, to a side there is a sight of the very pretty lagoon, later we visit a viewing-point (of the third millenium) up to(even) whose(which) I peeped it is possible to come in car and from there it is raised to the top walking, everything the very pretty.

As I was saying, after the walk we rest awhile and to the dusk we went to see the guide with whom we had ruled the fishing, almost stuck to the hotel, but he went out for us with Tuesday, the thirteen(thirteenth) and the exit frustrated, before this and not wanting to lose the trip we contact another guide of fishing: Roberto García, who in spite of falling(falling due) him of surprise agreed with all taste to take us of goes fishing the following day, as(like) they say "every cloud has a silver lining" in this one case it was like that, since Roberto is a fabulous, enterteining, nice, obliging person and with a service of fishing of a top level.

To the late afternoon we visit the resort and the lagoon, they are not near the city, are IN THE CITY, to few stables of the center, it has a surface of 700 You have. Approximately a depth happens of 5 mts. though there are sectors of 11 Mts. of depth, the resort has a sector of camping very hoisted with capacity for 100 tents, gridirons, electrical light, beach, impeccable baths, grocery, a nautical day-care center newly inaugurated, a restaurant, infantile games and a slightly common cleanliness.

We share with Roberto a beer enjoying the late afternoon and planning the fishing of the following day, we stay embarking at six o'clock and going fishing until eleven o'clock, so we went away to the hotel to have dinner early and to sleeping, on having come Eugenia invited us to have dinner, thing that we accept with taste, we went to a so called "Archaic" restaurant on Avenue St Martin to few stables of the hotel, it is a service of chef with show restraint elaborated and reasonable prices.

At six o'clock we were embarking, Roberto's boat(launch) is very comfortable, a hull in "V" deep of 6 mt. of length, engine inside was A Falcon Sprint and leg Volvo, wide cabin with poop, fishfinder etc., we set sail, border on the island, and near the opposite coast we begin the fishing.

The island's name is " Isla de Puán Reserves ", it has 32 has. And there was human occupation for 3.300 years, there are intangible zones where only it is possible to accede with specializing guides and other places of free access.

Continuing with the fishing, we knew that it(he,she) is fished with paternóster or of bottom(fund), but equal I tried with a line of float, the mistake was that the distance between(among) buoys was not allowing myself to give the necessary depth to achieve interesting apprehensions, nonetheless(though) the apprehensions of medium fishes 300/400 grs. was constant, the paternóster must have two sliding knots in the line of the reel, two perlitas and between(among) them a rotor with esmerillón, like that it is possible to give it the necessary depth to capture the "big ones".

Very robust and that weighed 1,400 kg, I started looking fondly at the paternóster, and before deciding Roberto captured another super fish of 1,500 kg, there I left the thingamajig and threw with paternóster, Roberto captures other one, onother for Patricia and I was painted. I extracted a couple of fishes of 800 grs., but compared to others was a petty, there was enough wind and, according to Roberto, was not good for this fishing, we go fishing until eleven o'clock in the morning, capture three of one kilo and a half and several of between(among) 800 grs. and a kilo, we had to sacrifice medium some because there were coming very swallowed by the fishhooks boys that we had, lamentably we did not have 3/0.

Concluding, there are fishes of all the sizes and some of up to(even) 2.300 kg, the great difference with other lagoons is that we are hoping constant for one of this that they do not forget, the ideal thing is the previous night comes, to establish, to begin to go fishing at five o'clock in the morning and to move back(to retire) at twelve o'clock, to clean the pieces, to set them to cool, to have lunch, to rest awhile and to tackle the return (if it is that they go one day).

Once clean the fishes (I left the big ones with head and tail to swagger with the friends), we went away to the Hotel and to having lunch with Eugenia, in this one I marry to the Restaurant "Caldén" to meters of the hotel, it is a restaurant with gridiron, spits, and good cuisine, there we ate half a beef-steak of sausage to the gridiron (300 grs. and the beef-steak of sausage is of 500 grs.) of this that do not forget, very good food and very accessible prices.

Before closing I comment to them that the Hotel Savizky has 31 rooms it is in Av. San Martin 52 to Av's meters. Leandro N. Alem that is the access to Puan, has a comfortable Lobby, desayunador, internal parking, TV, frigobar (some rooms), and the very good attention of Eugenia and her grandson, the cost ranges in the $ 40 for person.
