We visited the
Cabins "Port Itatí Paradise"
By:
Hugo Gallo
In ours first visit to the Parana river of year 2006 we
made a visit to the cabins "Port Paradise" of the city of Itatí, its
construction already is almost ready, count on six cabins, cooks, quincho,
dining room, and the classic boats "toninas" with 90 HP.
The cabins have comfort for three fishermen, count on
conditioned air and complete bath.
We arrived Friday at noon, we behind schedule settled and
we programmed the fishing for that same one, the idea was to see as it were the
time since in those days it rained almost incessantly, afternoon appeared cloudy
with some drizzles, but equal we embarked ...... and to fish.
Éramos of the game, Patricia, Federico co-owner of the
cabins, our guide (Teco) and I, by the result of the previous days directly left
for Port Heart, this fishing boat is waters above of Itatí, about forty minutes
of navigation.
In this one opportunity I released a cane
"Bamboo" Blue Angel of 2.10 mts and 1 section, so that they are located
is the one that has the red end, is of very good action of end, light, and the
handle of nonskid EVA, one pretty light cane of trolling
Once in the chosen place, incarnated lines to the water
with eel, although this one is not the bait indicated for this fishing was the
unique thing that we had, I advise to them when they fish with bait - if they
are not expert to use brown medium, since the fish will eat it of a mouthful, in
the case of mamachas it is necessary to have very calculated the necessary time
so that they eat, and with the eel to all this it is added to him that it is not
a golden and surubíes food that attracts much, therefore is necessary to give
much bullfight him and even so it is very possible that we miss the nailed one.
We had some resentments but we could not make specific none
of them, arrived the dusk to us and we returned "shoemakers", we took a
appetizer, we listened to a little music, we had supper, and we went away to
sleep, since on the following day we would leave well early.
Second day, Saturday to the morning.
In this opportunity we began the fishing in sectors nearer
Itatí, always waters above to be approaching Port Heart to us, of exit we did
something of trolling without answer, so we arrived at destiny "Port heart", in
a shutdown in "toilette" we descried a shoal of fish of sábalos in an island
faces ours and towards we were ourselves there, never we had seen something
thus, the shoal of fish had hundreds of meters, the water seemed to boil with
the movement of the fish, we descried to the sábalos and to the gilded ones that
they swam around them, we armed canes of fly and we began to throw all the
colors and sizes to him of estreamers, but no gilded was interested in our
deceits, Federico "patejeó" sábalo, incarnated a line and removed a pretty one
gilded, by our part we were dedicated to enjoy the spectacle, that until that
moment we had never seen.
After awhile our guide it returned to the last one in the
zone of fishing, I have a resentment, story ten seconds more or less and form
stalks, I see jump to the distant spot gilding, treatment of not relaxing the
line and I approach it the boat, medianito, of about five kilos, photos and to
the water.
We had many resentments but we missed the nailed ones,
"Teco" nailed a beautiful Patí, perhaps of eight kilos, although for us he is
not eatable by its excess of fat, the foreign fishermen also kill it and they
take it, (they take toíto, until pirańas).
Almost arriving the noon Federico it already nailed a
surubí, worked it with patience and it approached it the boat, with the guide
raised it with care, we removed photos to him and we gave back it to the water
so that a commercial fisherman captures it and the bandage to a hoarder.
Happy with the fishing we maintained course to Itatí, where
Santiago hoped to us with a rich one roasted, we gave account of him and after a
descansito we were ourselves towards Itá Ibaté, but this one fishing I will
relate them in days.
Greetings to all
Hugo Gallo
