Zone of the Grande Boat

The past Friday 11 of December we decided to do one crossed by the Delta, the idea was to make a relevamiento in the zone of the river Barca Grande, Barquita and streams of the zone.

Happened noon of Friday we started off in two boats from the Sarthou day-care center for the chosen zone, in one of the boat it accompanied Matías and Pato to us and in the other Cristian and I.

The first destiny was hostería “Put” where we would spend the night. Hostería is closely together on the river Barca Grande of the union with the Barquita stream.

The map course that we decided to do was to happen through the low ones of the fear soon to take the Chana until crossing Mini Parana where we took the Tuyuparé stream until the channel I number 3, by this until the Lake soon taking the Cross from the Willow until the Barquita, the landscapes of the trip very pretty and are entertained.

Hostería counts on very comfortable rooms, with or without deprived bath, a colorful Restaurant and a zone of camping and grill, really very comfortable for the fisherman and the family.

After leaving some bulks we decided to finish the day in the Dominguito Stream that is to about 3000 meters river underneath hostería, when arriving we sailed 1000 meters towards within the stream and we put ourselves to fish.

First that nothing, we prepared all the devices of illumination and security, since in just a short time we would remain without natural light, and is good for having everything prepared and by hand, finished this task we began to arm the equipment, the objective species of Friday to the night was the Tararira, for which we prepared the equipment with lines of floatation and bottom, those of floatation with buoys plastic and light type “Plop” loaded with the ammunition to generate noise on the surface, those of bottom simply a pasante lead of 20 to 40 grams with the leader and a hook 3/0 or 4/0.

We began using you shiver of sábalo like bait, but immediately we could capture several mojarrones which together to the small yellow catfishes is a very good bait in all the delta to touch to tarariras and the doradillos. Another alternative is the bovine heart cut in strips and by all means the eel.

Although we could notice movements in the water that indicated the presence to us of tarariras, these did not begin to itch perhaps until key the sun, pure coincidence but was what it really happened to us.

With last rays of light I could nail one pretty tararira that violently attacked my sent bait but beaten the possible thing the opposite coast exactly under a plant that supported its long leaves on the water. It did not take more of a minute in violently leaving, to take the bait and to run towards the opposite coast forcing to me to make all type of piruetas on the boat to avoid that one puts underneath a trunk that guaranteed the lost one of the fight. I could control it, remove the photo and give back it. Thus 3 or 4 resentments occurred more, standing out first that I captured and one of which it captured Cristian. When watching the clock, already was the hour decided with the inn for the food, we returned slowly and we prepared ourselves for a rich supper.

On the following day we started off for the false mouth of the barquita stream where we tried the fishing in a small stream that promised, but the bajante pronounced one did not allow us to locate to us in the correct place, thus we decided to move towards the opening of the barquita stream, where a stream formed one pretty track next to an overflowing, we tried the fishing of tarariras with few answers of small units and much activity of yellow catfishes.

When seeing that the place did not render, we decided to move towards another stream of the zone that does not have a name defined in the letter, but it is in the opening of the Barquita stream on the right margin. We decided to enter the stream to try the fishing of tararira and the other boat decided to search on the main channel right front to the mouth of the stream. We did not have much luck, only a violent resentment that seemed of tararira gave the surprise us when we were hooked in the hook to a pretty unit of Bitter Head.

But in the other boat the thing was different, the boys already had left the fishing of tarariras and very was entertained with you row them that they seemed to be like crazy people, a resentment after another one, and units of diverse sizes gave the touch us of final diversion for the day.

After several captures we decided to start off, for which we sailed slowly until the posos of the great boat where the line of woods of the map course to Martin Garci'a takes to us until the opening of Mini Parana where we found another line of woods that allows to raise until the stream Devil us to end at Under the Fear.

Surely we will return soon, although the fishing of we row was satisfactory, had liked to capture more tarariras, we know are in many places of the delta, we will return by them in an exit that surely is going to also include the catfish of sea.
